Meet Christian Scott at 2.5 weeks old. It was an honor to have his family return to the studio. Last year, I photographed his sister when she was a newborn baby and now it was his turn. He was so calm and mellow throughout his session which is a newborn photographer’s dream.

I always tell my clients that their baby dictates how the session will go. There are times when they liked to be wrapped and other times they just want to be held. I’ve learned over the last 6 years that as a newborn photographer, you just have to roll with it. That’s why it’s important to find an experienced newborn photographer that knows how to handle your baby.

When you book a newborn session, I’ll send you a newborn client questionnaire asking a few questions. Asking, what type of images you want me to capture and what colors you’d like incorporated. I recommend choosing colors that will compliment the nursery or home decor. For Christian’s session, his mom wanted to incorporate blue with neutral tones, I think these colors came out great.
